A clean-shaven man in his fifties, medium-length wavy dark hair going grey at the temples, in a navy power suit, a light blue shirt, a heavy gold chain and an expensive gold watch. Former Thulebane psychological operations, and it shows. He reads people exceptionally well, prefers charm and leverage over violence, and owns the Key and Shield. Baxter may be his first name or his last, and he keeps credible aliases in both directions. Everyone calls him Baxter; probably nobody left alive knows his real name.

A Notable

A large, muscular, bald man in a plain hoodie and neutral cargos, quiet in a way that unnerves people. In a fight he wears bright white combat armour under an Ace of Spades insignia and carries a modified LazCar. A former Roarkestown Ranger, convicted of a massacre he did not commit, sentenced to a penal unit, and back out the other side.

A stunningly beautiful Scandinavian woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes, the right side of her face covered by a stylised wolf's head tattoo, its mouth gaping over her mouth and its eye over her right eye. Dresses in multi-coloured avant-garde clothes. Known as Wolfrend, the former sixth wife of Hermann Kronsfeld, The Wolf, a dead Noble of the Sons of Thule. Happy, naive and full of life, amazed by the world she is finally free in. She picked her own name, after the man who took her in; Baxter has never had the heart to tell her his real name isn't Baxter.

C Notable

A lean, wiry Puerto Rican man with short dark hair and tanned skin, in an Ace of Spades navy cap and an imitation wool-lined leather bomber jacket. Wildcard, former Roarkestown Rangers dropship pilot, now a merchant pilot notorious for taking risks and usually coming out clean. Always has a joke to lighten the mood.

A Notable

A tall, athletic Irishwoman with short-cropped red hair and piercing green eyes, in a white and pink letterman jacket with a large heart on the front, a pleated knee-length white skirt and plated pink boots. A former House Salazar colonel and highly decorated front-line officer, known as The Ice Queen and Colonel Carnage, names she shed to stay alive. Colonel Carnage remains the most wanted person in all of Thule history; nobody knows that the woman everyone calls Roisin is her. She still goes by Heartbreaker, mostly because of the jacket; nobody has a reason to make the connection, because anyone who pisses her off generally doesn't live to tell about it. Cold, calm, calculating, uncompromising.

A Caribbean Creole woman with black dreadlocks and severe torture scars down the left side of her face, a crooked smile from the scar tension, her left eye behind a patch that conceals an AR device. Wears dark woollen sweaters, a keyboard wrist computer covering the whole left forearm, and a concealed pistol at the small of her back. Nico, former Thulebane intelligence, survivor of Sons of Thule captivity. The scars are real, and she chose to keep them.
